Recap of Past PFund EventsPFund Cabaret

May 8, 7 p.m. to 11 p.m.
Guthrie Theatre

PFund is taking its Cabaret fundraiser to a new level this year — Level 9 of the Guthrie Theater, that is. Join us on May 8 for spectacular views of the Mississippi River, while enjoying an evening of entertainment, food and friends — all to support PFund’s work toward advancing social justice for LGBT communities across the Upper Midwest. Building on the success of last year’s Cabaret, which thanks to our fabulous supporters raised nearly $50,000 for PFund’s programs and ongoing work.

In the world of fundraising, the Cabaret format is unique — no stuffy, assigned tables. This allows for optimal mingling as you enjoy hors d’oeuvres and signature drinks, while visiting with your friends in Guthrie’s stunning Pohlad Lobby with Amber Box. The emphasis of the evening will be on entertainment and fun, while maximizing dollars raised for PFund’s programs. We will also honor the 2010 PFund Power of One Award recipient, Max Gries, for outstanding contributions to the community.

The evening will feature top-notch, limited, live auction items — from a cabin in Wisconsin to a beachouse in Mexico. And a year of date nights or a tattoo session with Art with a Point. We’re continuing the popular Exceptional Experiences, which are unique opportunities: a hot night at the New Fire Center and a backstage experience at the Jungle Theatre.

Lori
Lori Dokken is producing the show. T. Mychael Rambo is the emcee. There will be some of the Twin Cities' finest musical talents, including Maria Isa to close the show. Expect Flamenco, jazz, hip hop, R&B and a few surprises. Tickets to the event are $150 each (of which $100 is tax-deductible) and can be purchased at Blacktie-Minnesota.

 We thank our Emcee Sponsor:
